This set contains the first Hollywood "Dracula" (post-"Nosferatu," which is not to be missed among early vampire films), a Spanish version of the same, "Daughter of Dracula," "Son of Dracula," and "House of Dracula." Lon Chaney and John Carradine play the title role in "Son of Dracula" and "House of Dracula," respectively. The first film was clearly done on a tight budget, but is still a very effective classic. All things considered, "Daughter of Dracula" is probably the most cohesive film in the set, and "House of Dracula," which also incorporates Frankenstein and the Werewolf, is probably the disorganized lowlight of the collection. Nonetheless, these are all classics and, even where they fall short, are at least good for a laugh.
