Leading lady Joan Blackman began her film activities in 1958. Joan's best-remembered film roles were Ellen, the earthbound girlfriend of extraterrestrial Jerry Lewis, in Visit to a Small Planet (1960), and Maile Duval, Elvis Presley's vis-à-vis in Blue Hawaii (1961).
