The Dorm That Dripped Blood (1982)

The Dorm That Dripped Blood (1982)
Member Rating:
This derivative slasher clone is at least clever enough to lift its basic premise from one of the earliest slasher films on record, Black Christmas, setting the mayhem during a nearly-abandoned dormitory just prior to Christmas break. The few students who remain to clean up the grounds are quickly set upon by a faceless killer with everything from a drill to a pressure cooker, thus preventing the audience from having to endure the standard slasher character stereotypes (virginal heroine, class clown, reclusive weirdo, etc.) any longer than necessary. Painfully obvious red herrings abound, and the silly "twist" ending will probably leave viewers wondering if they missed the set-up. Look for Daphne Zuniga (making a less-than-memorable film debut) as a quickly-dispatched victim. ~ Cavett Binion, Rovi

I heard about this movie before, and I thought it would be worth watching. I was wrong. This movie was so boring, and I stopped it every five minutes to take a break. This film was just too slow-paced for me. The killer just keeps killing everyone to be with a girl, whom is also currently dating a guy who is cheating on his girlfriend to be with the girl. The ending is so dumb and ill-advised. I'll just tell you the ending to keep you from renting this borefest... The killer kill off all of this girls friends, he runs into her boyfriend, tries to kill him, the cops come and shoot the boyfriend (good guy), and the bad guy gets away. He throws the body of the girlfriend into the fire to frame the dead (good guy) so the bad guy's story is believable. Everyone dies, and the killer gets away. HOW STUPID!!!!! Just stay away from this film.

What a peice of work this movie is. No story and its just one kill after another with no reason for it. Heck I could have filmed a better movie than that. No thumbs up for this one.

This movie is pretty damn boring, and the story is lame. The killing scenes are below average as well. Don't bother.
