A good movie in the tradition of '40's and '50s movies. I read the book long ago and while I like the book better, the movie does a good job of re-telling the story. This isn't an action-packed movie and will disappoint some because of that. It will appeal to those who like a good story with some historical fact mixed in with it. One of the most interesting unknown tales from WWII.

I was very intrigued viewing this movie. You learn the intricate workings of the British intelligence organizations and how they conjure up a fictions British soldier and deceive the entire Nazi war machine. Note: there is no high action or combat scenes in this movie, it is a thinking mans movie! I will give it 5 out of 5 stars for its incredible attention to historical detail in the production of this film.
