This movie is more than you migh realize at first ... the whole theme is about trials in life we all face and how we handle them. A lot to be learned, a lot to think about after th movie is over. This is a Christian movie. If you have Christian relations or friends and you just don't get why they love the Lord... watch this movie. What happened to the main character happened to me only under different circustances. We all have trials because we live in a fallen world...watch and when you back goes up against a wall you will know the best way to handle it...the only way.

Finally, a Christian film that is not hokey. While it has a feel of a made-for-tv movie, the acting is decent, the production is done well and the plot is plausible.

I enjoyed this movie. It's nice to see faith based films stepping up the directing and acting. C. Thomas Howell and John Rhys-Davies are about as good as you can get. It's tough for a movie to take on the big question "why do bad things happen to good people".
