An example of "mystical realism" told from the point of view of a six-year-old girl living in the squalor of the Louisiana delta. Worth viewing if you can overlook its lapses into incoherence and sentimentality.

For me, this is the worst movie ever. Yes, the little girl can act, but I wouldn't watch this movie again if someone paid me to do so. It's boring, pointless and disturbing.
