Tommy and Sammy? What do you get? Fireworks!! Two of the finest actors ever working their magic to the hilt. Not very many in the field could pull this off, but these 2 masters ran with it in a way that left me in awe of their brilliance. This is the absolutly the best peformance I've enjoyed in a long time. The scrtipt was brilliant, and Tommy Lee's direction was innovative and spot on! I actually enjoyed the bonus narritive version as much as the movie itself. It really gives a true insight into the genious of Tommy Lee Jones..... To the folks who, "Didn't get it." Sorry, you musta missed something.

The majority viewers were probably expecting more of a worldly instant satisfaction kind of a movie. An action thrill or beautiful scenery type of a flick was not the case here. This is a movie for people who listen! The ghetto kind of apartment was the perfect place for those who are not judgemental and go by circumstance, when you invite Faith and God into your life you actually see and listen more clearly. The dialouge was profound, this was so well done! especially with such two influential actors like these. Would love to see more like this. For those of you who were disappointed in this movie, if you try thinking outside of the box and getting out of your own expectations you might find this quite enjoyable : )

This is the ultimate low budget movie of the century. Two guys talking at a kitchen table. What a waste of talent of Samuel L Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones. The entire movie was one scene; old, dirty kitchen table.
