This was a fantastic movie, a must for anyone who remembers this awful slaughter of innocent women and children. It brings out how things can go terribly wrong

documents last 24 hours of the life of cult leader david koresh. most of it is based on the testimony of FBI agents and two surviving cult members. some of it is speculation. also gives background of branch davidians and koresh's youth as vernon howell. recommend you read also "the ashes of waco" and "inside the cult". also see "the rules of engagement", another documentary that exposes the FBI's aggressive actions that sealed the fates of the women and children in the compound. reveals the control a cult leader can have on his/her followers (a la manson) as well as the mistakes federal agencies can make for which they are rarely held accountable. the blood of those innocent children is on the hands of Janet Reno, the ATF, and the FBI who fired bullets at them, sprayed tear gas on them and knocked down their home around them knowing they were inside and helpless.

A total waste of 40 minutes of my time. Basically, you get the heavily-edited version of events promoted by the FBI and ATF. Only in the last minute of the movie are their methods and motives called into question. No mention of how the surviving Branch Dividians were all found not guilty of any crimes or how massive amounts of evidence from the scene was "lost" by the FBI and ATF. The whole thing was more of a tabloid piece than an investigative piece or even a documentary. David Koresh may have been whack-o, but the FBI, ATF and DOJ were at least as guilty as Koresh in what happened. Koresh paid with his life. The DOJ has yet to answer for its crimes.
