Herschell Gordon Lewis comes out of retirement to bring his schlock-comedy style of directing to celluloid only this time he has a fair budget. As an old school horror fan I have seen my fair share of just about everything. But an HGL production is something you don't forget. Back in the 60's Lewis' features were the notorious Color Me Blood Red and Two Thousand Maniacs then later came the more popular Wizard of Gore and The Gore Gore Girls. His reputation staple was tons of gore, fake looking gore and campy over the top acting with a small splash of social commentary. The Uh-Oh! Show has the same ingredients that his earlier body of work contained put it looked pretty damn impressive. Recommended for for fans of schlock and camp, Troma fans but warning it is not for the weak or faint-hearted.

I'm not sure how to rate this one. I didn't like it, but it accomplished exactly what it sets out to do. Making a social commentary while splashing around extremely liberal amounts of fake looking blood and gore. The acting, props, and effects are all well below par, but they work for what the director was going for. If you like intentional schlock gore-fests(it's not a horror movie, it's just gross and gory), you'll probably love it. Everyone else will probably hate it. Considering the content, it definitely should NOT be in the Family & Kids section.
