I saw it because of Daddy Yankee but the movie needed more. And yes if you don't understand the slang talk it will be dificult to understand it. It seemed the movie was too shore and need of funds (poor quality filming).

i liked the way the movie portrayed the real life as it happens in puerto rico. i think that even if it was not about daddy yankee it would have been good. overall very real and up to date. would watch it again.

This movie will be best enjoyed by locals, as there is a lot of it that may only be understood by them. I am Puertorican and I was able to really appreciate the movie. I mainly loved the message that was sent to the audience about leaving the drugs, etc. The one part I did not like is the death of the young girl, I personally have a year and a half son and it broke my heart into pieces to see such a scene; unfortunately, I do now that the movie reflected the reality and that's probably what saddened me the most, because it is not just a movie, its a reflexion of the real life inside these suburbs and places in PR. you gotta love the slang, if you are not PuertoRican but you do speak spanish, I bet you can find at least 20 words that you have never heard before, lol. by the way, the movie WAS intended to be a spanish foreign movie, so please, do not try to watch it in english, you will be truly dissapointed,
