Premiering in 2006 on TBS, this comedy series takes its cues both from no-laugh-track-sitcoms like Scrubs and My Name Is Earl, and sophisticated comedy/dramas like Sex and the City. The show stars Jordana Spiro as PJ, a 30-something Chicago sports writer who navigates her sometimes complicated social, professional, and romantic lives with a group of good friends, almost all of whom are guys.
