I had to stop watching it at the middle of it, the story line is lame. a lot of mini clips and the visual effects are terrible. Rent at your own risk.

Not even scary. The movie plays out like a bunch of 5 mins. t.v. clips. Lame and predictable ending.

This compilation of nine unrelated stories should be placed in the supernatural genre, rather than horror. That's because there isn't anything scary in any of the stories. In fact, if the people who created after school specials made a series of ghost oriented short stories, this is what they would look like. If you liked "Kadokawa Mystery & Horror Tales, Vol. 1", then you might like this as they share the same production values and lack of scares. The acting and directing were at the level of a TV show for fifteen year olds. The only purpose of this title was probably to give a cast and crew with limited experience an opportunity to put something on their resume. The only redeeming quality for this title is the limited, but perky performance of Chiaki Kuriyama. The audio defaults to stereo. There are no extras. Not recommended.
