A fairly well done history of the major figures and movements of what are often called the Crusades. Certainly no academic work, more of a mass audience appeal. Don't bother watching for the battle scenes, which I found ... well, lame. But hey, it's not like the could film the real thing.

I thought it was fairly well done for a History Channel documentary. They obviously spent a lot of money on the series. I was disappointed in the blatant bias towards the Muslims. As they say, history is written by the winners and not the losers.
