    just for kicks was truly a great look at the history of sneakers and the rising underground tendency to seek rare and exclusive shoes. the film spent most of its time discussing the influence of adidas and nike which was well deserved, but somewhat neglected truley giving some of the other shoe brands the credit they deserved. despite that there are many many more elements of sneaker culture that they could have discussed to give a more extensive view, i would strongly recomend this film. be sure to watch "scratch", "freestyle" and "wildstyle" for more documentaries on the history of hip hop culture.

    If you are into sneakers or hip hop or graf, this is a must see. This brought back crazy memories and was well worth it. Highly recomended to anyone into kicks.
