A lonely singer/songwriter and the man of her dreams take a second shot at love after fate intervenes into their romance in a tearful tale of destiny starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls. Samantha Andrews (Hewitt) was studying classical music in London when she first met Ian Wyndham (Nicholls), and the moment they locked eyes both new that it was love at first sight. I went into this movie with a few preconceived notions and I could not have been further from reality. This was a good movie and I reccomend a rental. JLH is adorable and I could not believe the singing voice on that girl... WOW! I had to watch the credits just to make sure it was her singing.

If Only is a true love story without the Hollywood ending. Just after an apparent break up, workaholic Ian (Paul Nichols) watches as the love of his life Samantha (Jennifer Love Hewitt) dies from an auto accident. When he wakes the next day he is miraculously given the opportunity to relive that same day again, and he desperately tries to change fate and keep Samantha from dying again. In the process he learns that, while he can't stop destiny, he can change things by the decisions he makes. In the end this film tells us to make the most of the present, and to not be afraid to love. A sappy chick-flick yes, but also a very memorable story for anyone who has ever loved.

I loved this movie. Of course, I am a sucker for anything shot in London and the surrounding area. I thought it was a fresh look at this topic and really enjoyed myself. And the acting, I felt, was really good. Loved this movie.
