This may be the worst case of false advertising I've seen in the DVD market. The Goodman content consists of a snippet of Avalon and one other tune which I'd never heard before. The rest of the DVD spotlights more of Artie Shaw and Jimmy Dorsey than Goodman but the bulk (maybe 75%) of the DVD is actually Teagarden who is hardly what I'd consider a master of swing. In reality it should have been titled as a Teagarden collection. There are several DVDs in this collection titled (Swing Era:). I would be reluctant to rent any others without knowing more about the content than just the name theoretically spotlighted in the title.
