I admit I wasn't interested in seeing this film, as I'm no fan of rap or hip hop music. But, with an open mind I decided to give it a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very well done documentary that depicts the life of Tupac, and it leaves the viewer feeling as though he "knows" Tupac on a personal level. Bottom line is, Tupac knew who he was, and he didn't hide it from anyone. He was who he was and that was a man with many different layers. This isn't just rap music, this is a story of a man's life and how he came to his untimely death. I didn't realize what a talented man Tupac was, nor did I realize all of the genuine heart hidden underneath all of the anger he held within from his childhood. This movie goes beyond Tupac, it is a documentary about society and how we are ultimately in control, or not in control, of our own fate.

Whether your a fan of Hip-hop music or not this was worth viewing. Sad how the media portrays alot of misunderstood black men and also sad how alot of black men portray themselves. If you would like insight on this conflicted soul and alot of Truth from Tupac this is a MUST see.

This is a movie about a great man called Tupac. This movie was the best doc i have ever seen! Tupac was very misunderstood and lived to help people. Anyone who talks bad about this man has never heard his music or seen this film. He is also the greatest rapper of all time!
