I have had the pleasure of meeting and experiencing Ram Dass about 15 years ago. The greatest impact that he had on me then was he was a seeker, no different from any of us. He possesses great vigor and a personal openness and honesty that's inspirational. Now that he's had a massive stroke, and is both physically and mentally debilitated by it, he still shines. It was very hard for me to watch, because you see his struggle on all levels to come to terms with this part of his life, and to understand the experience. He shows us, in the context of his life, how to honestly deal with the fear of decline, death and loss. Don't expect to watch this without a box of tissues by your side.

I was dissapointed...It seemed to be nothing more than a fundraiser to pay for all of his assistants. I love the man, but there was nothing useful here.
