This is nothing like Jane Austen, so don't be fooled. This is a late 70's/early 80's movie and is really boring and awful. I couldn't watch more than 10 minutes without turning it off and mailing it back. It made no sense and was so dull and slow. It is set in the late 70's/early 80's in New York. It is not anything like I expected. I love Jane Austen and all the movies done on her books. This is not one. It is weird and boring. Sorry, but i didn't know what to expect since there was no reviews, but I wanted to warn anyone else renting it so that they don't waste their time.
