Member Rating:
Force 10 From Navarone was a sequel to the 1961 blockbuster The Guns of Navarone and tells the tale of ten widely divergent WW II troubleshooters who attempt to blow up a crucial bridge in Yugoslavia. As in the first Navarone film, one of the guerillas is a traitor: group leader Mallory (Robert Shaw) knows the identity of the turncoat, but can't prove it until it's almost too late. The beautiful female resistance leader is played by Barbara Bach, while Harrison Ford, fresh from his Star Wars success, is the romantic lead. Others in the cast include Edward Fox, Franco Nero and Alan Badel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This movie is a fun, good guys vs. bad guys, military good guys win, light-hearted, entertaining movie. It has the hero, the villain, the unassuming weak man who saves the day, and the beautiful lady. It is done with the mood of a Hogan's Heroes type of story. I highly recommend it.

This movie will be interesting for WWII buffs. But, For any one who enjoyed "The Guns of Navarone" it will be disappointing. Harrison Ford does a fine job, but the directing, and dialog could have been inproved.I'll watch 'The Guns of Navarone'again, but not this one.

This is no "Guns of Navarone", for sure. By the 1970's, movies like this were shallow, compared to the 60's. There was enough suspense to keep me interested in seeing how it ended, however. Maybe I just wanted to see Barbara Bach, topless...
