As a musical, it was a flop. The songs were forgettable, the music was mediocre, the songs often weren't appropriate for the situation, and dancers just appeared apparently to try to make a small song into a production number. As a story, we have a girl who is attracted to almost every man she sees. with side stories about AIDS and homosexuals. So she picks up still another man and she thinks he is the pefect man she was looking for, and he dies of AIDS. But life goes on, and soon she has another man. Although the movie dealt with AIDS and homosexuality, that wasn't that unusual in 1998. Overall, a pretty bland movie.
