The acting was very cheesy even for a 70's blaxploitation film but it has a good message about change. It also shows the harsh reality of how gangs can have a negative impact on the youth which is still a problem today. A fact based drama worth viewing.

Best "blaxploitation" movie i've seen. The end gets slow but overall well worth it. Ghostface Killah of wu tang sampled various scenes of this movie for his album "ironman". Classic!
