Currently season 5 is on. However, this series thus far is one of the best TV series ever made. Maybe its because I am from Salt Lake City and was raised Mormon, I am not sure. However, each and every issue that the Henricksons deal with are issues that polygamists really face. Most of the religious views are 100% accurate, and portrayed concisely. My church congregation LOVES this series. It's not just a "cultural" TV series. It is about individuality and personal choice. It is about what people consider holy and their failings to live up to their own values. I am rooting for the Henricksons, but I see terrible troubles for Barb and Bill. Each of the wives are trying to understand where they fit in and they just might tear each other apart to get the greater share of Bill. This is seriously a monumental series because it speaks to the human condition of what it means to love. EXCELLENT! FANTASTIC!

I have been a fan of Big Love since the first season. I will miss it after the 5th. What a great ensemble cast. Best casting I've seen in a long time. They all blow we away with another great season. I love how they keep pushing the limits to expose polygamy . Best Season Ever

I never watched this show when it was on the air, as it just sounded too weird. Then, someone in my family converted to Mormonism, and I ordered the series on disc to understand more. When I visited the church with this family member, I met several extraordinarily kind, intelligent, and successful members. I also learned about some of their beliefs and was in awe of their comprehensive support system. I mention this because Big Love accomplishes the same thing that getting to know the Mormons did for me. In Big Love, the audience has no choice but to open their minds and take lessons in tolerance of those who choose a different path than their own. After getting close to these characters and their atypical existence, including the trials they embrace, they seem so sincere, and yes, so loving. That is quite an accomplishment for a fictional television show! And, of course, it is completely entertaining!!! This show is a must see...each season as great as the last (so far)...

This is a good series. You deffinately need to watch the first three seasons to understand the plot and all the drama. I think it is funny to see the way that people think the Mormons are. It is really far-fetched. None the less it still is good entertainment.
