A woman brings her boyfriend to the hospital for outpatient surgery, and fights for answers after he seemingly vanishes into thin air. When Mary (Brittany Murphy) dropped Kevin (Dean Cain) off at the hospital, doctors told her that he'd be ready for discharge in just a few short hours. Later, she returns to pick him up, only to be told that no patient with that name was ever registered at the hospital. Frantic, Mary turns to the police, who merely patronize her after discovering that she has a history of mental illness. As Mary's search intensifies, she discovers that Kevin's disappearance may be part of an elaborate cover-up involving the hospital staff, and that her "missing" boyfriend may have been in on the ruse all along. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
This movie was okay. Not too much to it though. But a few times it kept me on the edge of my seat. Wish it had more of a story behind it. It still liked it.
Too bad this had to be Brittany Murphy's last movie. It was horrible. How can movies like this even get made? This was the best screen play they could find? Really! The worst movie I can remember seeing.
This low budget movie as horrible. Im not even sure it was edited. Acting was like that of an original SyFy channel movie. Brittany looked like a clown with her make up.
This is a fast paced movie with quite a few holes in the story, so if you can overlook that, you may enjoy the movie. At first I was not impressed with Brittany Murphy, but decided that her acting was actually quite good considering what she had to work with and a shame that she is no longer with us.
BM taken way too soon, for sure a star
up above now. I rented the movie to
see her last film, she appears listless
and her eyes & lips were spooky to look
at -- a low budget cast & script and
way too slow but seeing BM one more
time was worth the watch, I fell in luv
w/ her in CLUELESS, good actress who
will missed on the big screen.
its kind of crazy how in 4 month of relationship can change everything, all lies, in a ways the whole hospital think she is a insane person is crazy, i would be so scared if someone did that to me, its so bad on who u trust, cant believe the ending, its great ending, i like it
R.I.P Brittany Murphy
love u :(
THIS WAS A HORRIBLE MOVIE. FROM THE ABSOLUTE MOMENT THAT HER MEDICATION FELL ON THE FLOOR AND THE DETECTIVE PICKED IT UP AND KEPT IT, WHICH LEGALLY NO WAY COULD THEY DO; THERE HAD TO BE ANOTHER WAY TO APPROACH THIS. THEN THEY MADE HER SEE THE PSYCH, ANOTHER RIDICULOUS MOVE, THEY COULD NOT MANDATE THAT WITHOUT HER PERMISSION, NOR COMMIT HER WITHOUT SOMEONE IN HER FAMILY SIGNING FOR SUCH. FROM THE MOMENT THE SECURITY GUARD GOT INVOLVED HE WAS OVERLY MEAN AND AGAIN ACTING AS IF SHE COULDN'T JUST LEAVE. IF A MOVIE STARTS OFF THIS RIDICULOUS IT MAKES ME KNOW I M ABOUT TO WASTE MY TIME.
