This is even better than the 1st season! The plot thickens,throws a few curves at ya',even adds some mythical touches.Sookie/Jason lives take a total 360 turn about.Vampires & shape shifters are spectacular.This series will have you waiting on pins & needles for season 3 starting in mid June on HBO! You will feel what they are saying,doing,it's that good of a series.Definitely a great outstanding series,as"carnivale' is.If you have NOT seen the 1st season,go to your HBO on-demand to watch it first,or if you don't have HBO-maybe a online service such as blockbusters,to watch 1st season.

This is the best vampire and supernatural series I have seen in years . Nobody does it like Alan Ball .

Season 2 definatetly drug out a storyline way too far, especially for a character barely mentioned in the books! I am happy they kept one of the characters that was originally killed off I think way too early in the book series! Hopefully season 3 will stick to the storyline of the book series a bit more, they are sooo good!!!!

the second season was fantastic. lots of action and yes... some good moral judgment points. along with some good old fashioned elegant and pure romance.

I love True Blood, but season 2 definately drug out the story line. I found myself waiting for the episode to be over while hoping the next one would be better. I really hope season 3 is different.

Besides Anna Paquin, getting boned a bunch of times and shows alot oher anatomy, this show is to me overrated and boring and corny at times.
