A devoted brother gets more than he bargained for when he takes the rap for his criminally inclined sister and gets placed in the care of a doctor who's using his patients as guinea pigs for a terrifying new drug. Upon being administered a dose of the experimental medication, the test-subjects transform into violent, flesh eating psychopaths. Jesse Metcalfe, Olivia Munn, and Carla Gallo star in a horror film written and directed by Midnight Meat Train scribe Jeff Buhler. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Umm..Okay - think of a movie that is like a Sci-Fi Channel version of 28 Days Later or other decent zombie movie. But, it doesn't even come close. And a times, it was actually funny (though not trying to be). Basically, the patients in a mental hospital are given some drug that turns them into crazed flesh eating people. Not zombies b/c they are still alive. Anyhoo, the movie has plenty of gore & good kill scenes. However, you get the feeling the entire time it tried a little too hard & it is just sitting there right at the B movie level. I actually laughed quite a bit at some scenes b/c they were cheesy. The zombie people/actors were laughable too. There is this one zombie thing that is TOPLESS the entire time. I gave it a 3 stars b/c compared to the released Horrorfest movies & others released on Blockbuster...it wasn't that bad. thanks

I thought it was alright, kinda gross but what do you expect from a zombie movie right. It was worth watching, wouldn't buy it though

Not a bad movie but not great either. Felt like it had potential but that soon went down the drain. Almost as if the movie didn't have enough time to tell the whole story. However, graphically it was solid (i.e. NO homemade-looking camera work).

okay so i kept this movie for at least 3 weeks and watched it A LOT. it was entertaining and kept interest. the effects were kind of iffy like when they would eat people, but it was still pretty good. basically a guy wants to see his suicidal sister who's in an asylum and they won't let him so he cuts himself up and pretends to be psycho. he gets in and finds out he can't leave, no one can. the patients get experimented on by the doctor and turn into cannibals. now him and his sister have to escape and tell the cops before they get loose
