The movie was pretty good but the ending kind of left you in limbo? So did everyone die with the exception of the little girl? Was everyone already dead and she was just trying to save their souls? Or was it all about her father trying to save hers? You don't quite get it? Or atleast I didn't. . . LOL But it does have some good graphics and special effects.
I would say that it is more simular to "Silent Hill" Was this review helpful? Yes

this is a great movie i bought it without having seen it or knowing who the band was. yes i was confused at the end but once i got the plot its totaly eerie i mean can u imagine being autistic and being trapped in a dark world of your own and your fears are these monsters. plus the whole desserted hospital plot creeped me out and it takes alot to scare me. yes this is a foreign film so give it a chance don't just judge it by how slow it is. its not a a splatter flick. its more a drama/horror. THANKS TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEWERS!! I thought it was just ME who couldn't figure this thing out, but I see others have the same issue. You should have seen me; the movie ends and I am literally sitting there with my mouth hanging open wondering what the H*** I just watched. Some creepy moments, some O.K. special effects, so-so acing, but absolutely NOTHING to tie anything together. So, if you are reading all these reviews not having seen the movie yet, be ready to be confused at the end, and if you can figure it out, you are smarter than me! Was this review helpful? Yes

What a complete waste of time. Stupid monsters, stupid music, absolutely no plotline whatsoever, no explanation of anything in the slightest. Lordi is a HORRIBLE band & even worse in film. This is simply an egotistic attempt to get themselves on screen.

Creepy, eerie, and I loved the "smokey" evil... I did like it, but it was missing something... I was like a nightmare you wake from wondering "what was that all about" feel to it. I guess thats part of Autism, can not really express how you feel or to convey your thoughts. Was this review helpful? Yes

Although this film has congruency problems. it is still good.Even if the 4 main ghouls are an actual rock band at that.. They were approached for this film concept. They certainly are not your typical ghouls- outfits that makes KISS look tame, nose rings, earrings.......etc.
But even with the film's lack of clarity, it is unique and all true horror fans might want to check this out. Note: the commentary is awful and the making of is not very imformative, so no answers there. But check out the videos and rock with the ghouls. Was this review helpful? Yes

Oh Lordi, what is the point? There are a few good ideas, but no development. They just put a typical movie character group together, throw them in a suitably creepy environment, and then just introduce the members of Lordi one by one. Upon introduction, the members of Lordi look menacing and growl a bit, except for the banshee one, who is kind of cool. The director came from music videos, and this is kind of like a music video, just without the music. They should have played up the amusement factor, because the horror just isn't here. I enjoyed the 2 Lordi music videos more. This is the weakest by far of the Ghost House new releases I've seen, with Dance of the Dead being very good and No Man's Land being above average. While the filming was good, nothing could make up for the horrific plot. You really had no idea why certain things were happening and even when the movie ended you still didn't know why it happened. The script and acting weren't bad and like I said the filming/scenary/concept were good but there's no escaping that this movie is not good at all. Was this review helpful? Yes
