Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) returns to the screen for another round of supernatural adventures on the high seas in this spirited sequel to the 2003 Disney hit, which re-teams original director Gore Verbinski with original screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio. As Will (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) prepare to exchange vows at the altar, their wedding plans hit rough waters with the arrival of sea-bound scallywag Jack Sparrow. Great ending to the series, or I guess that is until the fourth comes along. My only complaint is it was a bit too long!

I love Jack Sparrow (Swoons): "Elllllllllooooooo Beastie!!" This one seemed to be more adventurous than the first - I like that the director tried to do something different with the characters this time. Seemed more on the lines of Indiana Jones this go round.

The grand continuation of the epic Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. With the legendary ending of the Curse of the Black Pearl and the loss of Geoffrey Rush as a lead role I was concerned about the future of Pirates of the Caribbean, but the trilogy loses no steam as it brings Bill Nighy on board as the villainous Davy Jones. If Pirates of the caribbean was a sandwich, the best sandwich ever created, Dead Man's Chest is the delicious meat between two slices of flawless bread.

This was definitely nowhere as good as the original (which was awesome) and it was also somewhat difficult to understand. Furthermore, it didn't actually have an ending... it's really just the first half of a five hour sequel. That said, it was still at least moderately enjoyable.

Wow.. the movie made no sense at all...lots of action ...some good laughs ..but the story ..was completely dysfunctional...Watched it 2 times and still can't figure out any of it...PC1 was superb..now I will see if World's End is any better .. If you like PC1 ..rent this..but I am honestly lost in the wandering story line
