This is a long drama thiller based movie. You will have to have a lot of patience to make it through but it is worth it. The movie is not so much an action film but the plot twists and overlapping corruption and coverups will keep you guessing the entire time. In the end, justice is served but at what cost. Worth a watch but if you can't sit still for 2 hours of a slow paced movie, I would wait and rent the DVD so you can pause for breaks.

Dark and dismal tale told in a way that keeps you on the brink..excellent role for an aging Gibson.

As Mickey Rourke's comeback with the wrestler was amazing, so was Mel Gibson with Edge of Darkness. Probably his best work since Braveheart. Hope he comes back with another thriller/drama or maybe even Mad Max!
