I agree with the very positive reviews that this film while independent and low budget rises above its limitations to be a powerful gut wrenching drama with fantastic performances from mostly unknown actors. I don't post many reviews but this one was worth it . E.J. Bonilla 'Jordin' is a rising superstar and could easily be a latin version of the next Tom Cruise. He is not only drop dead gorgeous, he is a natural actor and engagingly believable. The story draws you in and only escalates as the movie advances. Highly recommended!

At first, I thought this movie was going to be just like any other cliche-latin-gang-related movie. In fact, the first 10-15 minutes of dialogues indicated so. However, the movie turned out to be pretty good. The drama escalated by the minute, and the movie was actually pretty good. I give it a four out of five stars.
