Private Romeo is another modern adaptation of the classic love tragedy, this time set in a private military prep school. Even though the film often seems like an acting class exercise, the all-male cast is quite good, nimbly switching roles, genders, and even families (Montague now, Capulet later) while using the Bard's most excellent text to tell a contemporary tale of cadet love. The cinematography and music are lovely.

Although it seemed a bit over rehearsed at times, I really liked this adaptation of this movie. It is entertaining and intriguing at the same time. I would recommend this movie.
