Some may think this a cartoon but it's really not. It's not really even animation, per se. If you watch the DVD extras (and I hope you will,) you'll find out the process involved in bringing this story to dvd and it's really quite facinating: The short version is it's a motion comicbook. It's more impressive to hear the creators tell it though, so I won't bore you here by inadequately trying to put it all into words. Suffice it to say, it will all make sense if/when you see this dvd. Oh, and if you're a fan of The X-Men, in any of its incarnations, then you'll really love this story. (I read the original comicbooks this was taken from and I found that this enhanced my enjoyment of the story!)
