Just as good as the first season, which was very good to me. Good writing, good characters, and the storyline progresses nicely. When I first found out about this series, I thought the premise wouldn't go anywhere. Glad to see I was totally proven wrong.
Thomas Jane is perfect for this role and it's probably the best thing he's ever done. Punisher, anyone? The characters are interesting. Lenore is crazy/hot... emphasis on crazy. However, Tanya can get annoying. I understand her character is in search of a backbone but sometimes it seems to drown out the other characters. And Burke's (Jessica's mom) Polish accent is so horrible. I'm glad they used Detroit as the backdrop. The city is like Ray, trying to build itself up after major setbacks and/or years of neglect. You couldn't have done this dark comedy with 29 year olds.
