This is NOT what I thought it was going to be. This is horrible - a complete waste of time and money (I was a fool to purchase this before I even watched it !) Save your money and don't waste your time on this garbage - - the conversations with the philosophers and playwrights were the biggest joke of all ! Just HORRIBLE !

I received this tape perhaps a month ago and intended to write a review because I was stunned by the interview of Jonathan Miller with the Cambridge theologian Denys Turner.. It made such good sense. One can only go so far in intellectual discourse and then belief in God becomes a matter of faith. It affirmed my belief. The other interviews were informative with reasonable cases where belief did not end in a faith in God statement.Perhaps they were trapped by their own logic. I found it valuable to hear both sides, but will want to have a copy around to boster my faith. Peyton K

A warm and inviting format that makes the viewer feel a part of the discussion. A bit of preaching to the choir as Miller is thoroughly sympathetic to his subjects views (as am I); but for anyone who enjoys the debate, these interviews will doubtless bolster your argumentative arsenal which is exactly what I had hoped it would do.
