Bold take on a few of society's ills. Aunjanue Ellis is an excellent actress who does not get enough work. The rest of the cast gives decent performances. Definitely worth checking out this 1.

..........much better than the 2.5 rating would indicate1 If you're looking for "ye candy"....go elsewhere.....if you're looking for a big budgeted 'drama"? not here.....but if you're looking for a film with modern day social elements like racism, brutal police....class division and a young cast that does a great job in getting across similar moral dilemmas taking place on 2 sides of the tracks: watch it! ....certainly a hidden little jewel...
