Mikuri is a high school freshman. He is average in every way and he has been that way for 15 years, but now, on the eve of his 16th birthday, all that is about to change. He has a strange dream that night, one more vivid than any he's ever had. He sees a girl fighting a menacing monster, set against a barren landscape. When he awakens, much to his surprise, the girl is sleeping by his side! Being an average high school boy, Mikuri is quite pleased to be in bed with a beautiful girl, but soon a much larger story unfolds before him, and Mikuri's life goes from average to out of this world. Whenever he goes to sleep, he revisits the world of his dream, were more and more people from his real life are appearing.
