Wounded
Kidnapped as a child and forced to live the violent life of a dacoit, a girl named Seema grows into a notorious criminal whose turbulent life is marked by endless tragedy. As an innocent adolescent, Seema Parihar was ripped from her family by the dacoits of Chambal. At first Seema railed against her captors with all of her might, though eventually she became accustomed to their nomadic lifestyle. As Seema prepares to take her place among the dacoits, her kidnappers spread the word that she has officially joined them, sealing her biological family's grim fate. Years later, Seema has taken a husband among the dacoits, though he soon disappears to seduce other women. While she bears a child for her second husband - a senior dacoit - he ultimately proves no more faithful than her first spouse. But Seema is determined to make a better life for her child, and vows to break free from the thieves before her baby is born. Unfortunately for Seema and her child, the authorities go back on their agreement to set her free in exchange for a full confession. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
