Tupac: Complete Live Performances
In his brief but incredibly influential career, fallen hip-hop idol Tupac Shakur was only captured on camera twice as he performed before his many fans. In this release featuring the only two concerts known to be in existence, fans who may not have had the opportunity to see a legend in the making can finally find out what Tupac was truly all about. The first performance, captured live at the House of Blues in 1996, offers Tupac performing twenty-four fan favorites including "The Shiznit", "Big Pimpin'", "Do What I Feel", and "Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None". Flash forward to later that same year, and fans can also witness the legendary concert staged at Club 662 in Las Vegas the day Tupac was released from prison. With fifteen hits including "So Many Tears", "California Love", "Cyco-lic-no", and "Dogg Pound Gangstaz", this release looks past the numerous biographical tributes that have followed in the wake of the rapper and poet's untimely death to let the music speak for itself. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
