Too Many Nights: The Images of Bob Carlos Clarke
Bob Carlos Clarke - one of the world's most famous and divisive fashion photographers - died a tragic death in early 2006 when the troubled artist threw himself in front of a train. Known for his seamy, seductive and alluring images of women, Clarke perceived an ongoing correlation between photography and sex, and used extremely controversial methods to obtain the effects he sought from his models. At the same time, he photographed everyone from Rachel Weisz to Elizabeth Hurley, and the erotic images that he created are utterly indelible and omnipresent, gracing numerous advertising campaigns and photography books. The Microcinema home video release Too Many Nights: The Images of Bob Carlos Clarke provides an onscreen compendium of many stills by Clarke. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
