This documentary pays tribute to the life and career of comedian Jimmy Durante, whose career spanned the better part of 50 years. The program tells Durante's story through film and television clips, interviews with Durante's wife and daughter, and with film and television critic Leonard Maltin, who also happens to be a fan of Durante. The show reveals that Durante got his start in the entertainment business as a vaudeville pianist with the comedy and music team of Clayton, Jackson, and Durante.
