The Samples: Seventeen
Sean Kelly and Tom Askin of the long-running Colorado-based jam band The Samples stripped a set of their favorite numbers down to their melodic core for a special acoustic performance, with Ed Toth, percussionist from the group Vertical Horizon sitting in on drums. A handful of loyal fans were invited to the show, held at the Ed McMahon Television Center in Hamden, Connecticut, and the result was this high-quality home video release. Sean Kelly & Tom Askin of The Samples: Seventeen -- Live Acoustic Performance From Quinnipiac College features the duo performing seventeen songs, including "Wild River", "Last Summer", "Streets In The Rain", "When The Day Is Done", "We All Move On", and more. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
