Diana Rigg stars as the indefatigable female sleuth Mrs. Bradley in this mystery produced for British television. Mrs. Bradley learns that her goddaughter Eleanor Bing (Emma Fielding) is engaged to be married, and travels to Chayning Court for a party to celebrate the happy occasion. However, tragedy makes an unexpected appearance when Eleanor's husband-to-be is found drowned in the bathtub. The police and the family believe the incident was nothing more than an unfortunate accident, but Mrs. Bradley isn't so convinced, with evidence suggesting the young man was the victim of foul play.
