The Key
Six film students shooting a documentary in a crumbling, one-hundred year old freemason building make a discovery that could open the door to another dimension in this frightener from first-time screenwriter/producer/director Michelle Fridley. They thought they were there to shoot a documentary about a haunted building, but the truth was much more sinister. Having convinced his fellow filmmakers to venture into this imposing building under false pretences, the leader of the film crew instead scours the rooms in hopes of finding a cursed treasure said to have been left behind by his freemason grandfather. Upon discovering a mysterious key, one of the explorers inadvertently unleashes a murderous demon. Now, as the body count begins to rise, the rest of the group begins to fear that they have somehow opened the very gates of hell. With no time to spare, the remaining survivors race to reverse the curse and close the door before the legions of the damned find a new home on Earth. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
