The Doors: No One Here Gets Out Alive - The Doors' Tribute To Jim Morrison
Jim Morrison of the Doors has often been hailed as one of the most charismatic and controversial figures to emerge from the rock music scene of the 1960s, and the fiery passion of his performances and the ambitious poetic conceits of his lyrics continue to inspire fans and fellow artists more than three decades after his death in 1971. The Doors: No One Here Gets Out Alive -- The Doors' Tribute to Jim Morrison features interviews with the surviving members of the Doors -- guitarist Robbie Krieger, keyboard player Ray Manzarek, and drummer John Densmore -- as well as producer Paul Rothchild, band associate Danny Sugerman, and writer Jerry Hopkins as they offer observations and opinions on Morrison's life and legacy. The documentary also offers plenty of footage of the Doors in performance. Songs featured include "Light My Fire," "The End," "When the Music's Over," "L.A. Woman," "Back Door Man," " "Five to One," "Moonlight Drive," and many more. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
