SWAY
Filmmaker Richard Sandler shot footage while riding on New York City's MTA subway line nearly every day for twelve years, and edited the material down to a compact 32 minutes -- supposedly the length of the average ride on the train. Sway uses music to fuse the disparate images of thousands of different subway rides and organize the visual poetry of his travels under the surface of New York City. Sway was screened in competition at the 2007 Rotterdam International Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
