S.O.D.: Speak English Or Live
Scott Ian and Charlie Benante of thrash metalists Anthrax crossed speed metal with hardcore punk, added a heaping helping of tasteless humor, and created S.O.D., aka Stormtroopers of Death, whose album Speak English or Die was intended to be a one-off recording project until the record developed a devoted cult following of its own, leading to a handful of concerts and a second album. S.O.D.: Speak English or Live was shot by a member of the band's road crew (and several fans with camcorders) during a New York City show in 1992; the band charges through 24 speedy songs, including "March of the S.O.D.," "No Turning Back," "Fist Banging Mania," "Phi Alpha Nu," and "Milk." ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
