Lester Benson is the manager of a red-hot rock band called The Small Faces. What nobody knows, however, is that Lester is really an ex-con with a checkered past. If anyone finds out about his time in the big house, Lester and the band are over, and that is just what a small time jewel thief threatens Lester with in exchange for help shipping his latest stolen goods off shore. With blackmail hanging over his head, Lester agrees, but when the daughter of the police chief turns out to be a Small Faces fan, the perfect crime begins to look less than ideal.
