Shelley Conn

After completing her training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in England, actress Shelley Conn took on several small roles in a variety of British films; in 2001, she was praised for her performance in the BBC's Down to Earth. After a number of recurring roles in British television and several stage performances throughout 2002, Conn appeared briefly as Princess Pondicherry in Tim Burton's 2005 adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Conn rejoined the BBC in 2006 to portray a criminology lecturer in The Innocence Project, a unique legal drama, and again in 2007 in the role of Ashika Chandiramani, the chief advisor to a key member of Parliament. ~ Tracie Cooper, All Movie Guide
