Drawn into a fiery affair with a mysterious woman named Mary who he met on the side of a darkened road, an engaged man finds his impending union threatened by an urban legend brought to terrifying life. It seemed that in Amy, Shawn had found everything he could ever want in life. Then, just six months before their wedding, Shawn met Mary. Though he tried to forget about her following their initial encounter, Shawn simply couldn't get Mary out of his head. Later, as Shawn and Amy drive down a darkened country road, Amy begins to grow suspicious of her fiancée and demands that Shawn turns the car around to go searching for the mysterious seductress. When their disagreement turns into an argument and the car goes careening off the road, Amy winds up in a coma and Sean is left struggling for a means to bring her back.
