California-born Rebecca Herbst began acting when she was just a little girl, appearing in commercials from the time she was five. The raven-haired actress actually also had a second career as a competitive figure skater until she was a teenager, skating with athletes like Michelle Kwan. But at the age of 16, she decided that in order to succeed, she had to choose one of her two passions to focus on, and she chose acting. She appeared in projects like the TV movie Kaleidoscope before landing a role on the soap General Hospital, playing nurse Elizabeth Webber Spencer.
